Ceremony Template Released

Another great set of templates from Ronnie Garcia is now available for public use. This highly customized layout uses graphics and advanced style settings to create a sense of dimension and rounded corners.  The color schemes and graphical details would compliment any wedding or event website!

There are seven templates available for use:  Garden Reception, Something Borrowed Something Blue, Black Tie Affair, Spring Wedding, Bridal Shower, Bouquet Toss, and Engagement Party.

Due to the many graphical details and Custom CSS settings, this template is a fixed width. We’d also recommend using the existing header image(s) as a template if creating your own banner, or use a floating image smaller than the current header width. 

Energy Template Released

A new template has been added to the library in collaboration with Ronnie Garcia of RonnieSan.com. We’ve modified his original design to allow for high customizability including a variable width and many adjustable elements. It includes six styles: Renewable Purple, Thermal Yellow, Radiant Pink, Kinetic Green, Nuclear Orange and Electrostatic Blue.

Please note, to upload your own banner with this template, you will need to remove padding in the Header Area (Inner) element. As this design is a full screen, centered layout, a borderless banner is recommended.

Coffeehouse 2.0 released

The ‘Coffeehouse’ template has been re-released to take full advantage of the upgrades that have occured within the Squarespace system since its original creation date.

Three new styles have been added: Cinnamon Chai, Green Tea With Lemon and Caramel Frappé. The original Espresso style has been revised, with some of the previous color elements now applied to the new style Caramel Frappé.

Content Padding has been changed to Column Padding in the Style Settings area, and now applies to the top and sides of the Canvas element (as it does in the newer templates.) Please note that when you upload a banner, the inner margin will line up with the left of your menus and the right of your content, for consistency.

High customizations have been removed, such as the use of lowercase styles in the menu and site title, which caused some headaches for people who had to create a new style just to remove the customization.

Other revisions include:
· Updated margins and padding to avoid collapsing
· Customizable elements now have names logical/consistent with newer templates
· Consistent use of borders between elements
· Adjustment to the sidebar and content to ensure proper vertical alignment
· Padding added to the bottom of the H3 element to avoid “sandwiching”
· Default icon set changed to small icons
· Amazon item description style adjusted to line up with preview image

If you are currently using Coffeehouse, you will need to manually switch to the new layout to take advantage of these upgrades. Do this cautiously, as you will lose any custom settings you have created.

Theatre Template Released

A new template has been added to the library, created by the talented Paul Mosig and Rachel Peachey of Studio Racket. This template is a fixed width and includes many advanced, graphical customizations. It includes three styles:

• Balcony Club: A beautiful neutral palette that is reminiscent of a tapestry you’d find in a historic theatre.
• Seating Chart: An earthly, architectural style with hints of drafting drawings in the heading area.
• Opening Credits: A dark, deep chocolate theme that feels as if it’s been pulled from the reel of a silent film.

Please note, to upload your own banner with this template, you will need to remove padding in the Header Area of your Customizable Elements.
