For a period between 8:00 PM and 10:15PM EST on 1/15, Squarespace sites experienced both slow load times and limited ability to log in to the site manager interface. Our engineers identified an issue in recently deployed system code that was exacerbating a pre-existing issue with one of our primary databases. Once the problematic code was identified, a patch was deployed and this issue was resolved rapidly.

Since our business and your sites share the same infrastructure — it is our upmost priority to keep Squarespace’s systems running quickly. We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused.
