IE6 Support Discontinuation (Manager Interface)

A. Casalena This is an early post and inform everyone that we will be dropping Internet Explorer 6 support for the upcoming version (V5) of the Squarespace management interface.
We will continue to ensure all sites and styles we produce work 100% seamlessly for IE6 users, so your visitors won’t notice a difference. Again, we’re only discontinuing support for the INTERNAL interface. If you’re still relying on IE6 to post to your site from internet cafe’s and in other uncontrollable situations, we recommend you use an XML-RPC blogging client or our post-by-email feature to post to your site instead.
The sophistication of our interface in V5 is evolving immensely, and IE6 — which is now over 7 years old — simply can’t keep up with the experience we want to provide to the other 97% of our user base. Now is the time to update. Switch to IE7, Firefox 2 or 3, Safari, or Opera — all of which are excellent browsers and receive 100% support in Squarespace V5.
